Three more Washington football players, all members of the Huskies' talented secondary, were chosen on the second day of the 2017 NFL Draft Friday, as Kevin King, Budda Baker and Sidney Jones were all selected in the first half of the second round.

King was the first name announced Friday as Green Bay took him with the first pick of the round of the draft, the 33rd overall selection. He was the first Husky drafted by the Packers since they chose Mark Brunell in 1993.

Baker was the next Husky chosen, just four picks in the second round, as the Arizona Cardinals selected him 36th overall. Jones followed shortly thereafter as the Philadelphia Eagles picked up with the 43rd overall pick.

For the second time in just three years, the Huskies had four players selected inside of the first 44 picks in the NFL Draft as that also happened in 2015.

King came to Washington from Oakland, Calif., and immediately saw action at safety as a true freshman in 2013. Over his career, he went on to play nickel back and cornerback, where he started all 14 games in the Huskies' 12-2 season in 2016. He also started eight games in 2015, 12 in 2014 and two more in 2013. An honorable mention All-Pac-12 and Academic All-Pac-12 selection in 2016,  King notched 165 tackles and six interceptions during his four years.

Baker,  from Bellevue, Wash., was a three-year starter at Washington before entering the NFL Draft with one year of eligibility remaining. In 2016, he led the Huskies with 71 tackles and 10 tackles for loss and earned consensus All-America, first-team All-Pac-12 and second-team Academic All-Pac-12. Baker was also a first-team All-Pac-12 defensive back as a sophomore in 2015. In his three seasons, he played in and started 39 out of a possible 40 games.

A two-time, first-team All-Pac-12 cornerback, Jones also earned second-team All-America as a junior in 2016. Over his three-year career, Jones started 39 out of 40 games at cornerback and also earned District VIII Academic All-America as a sophomore.  In his three years, he compiled 145 tackles and nine interceptions while forcing six fumbles and recovering three others.

The NFL Draft concludes Saturday with rounds four through seven.
